Message As some of you may know I got the first version of the Dailey Engineering dry sump
Pics here --> Dailey Engineering, buy here ---> Specialty Z.

As I have just done a rebuild on the red race Z thought we would test fit the sump (it is going on the Silver race Z rather than this one)

You will see that it fits cleanly, clearing everything. This engine has MS manifolds and GT28RS turbos.

The only things that need to be removed are the oil feeds (which of course you would do anyway), air conditioning - duh its a race car - the pump exit line is a bit close to the engine mount but does clear it, just might need some trimming or maybe a BDE low profile engine mount would be the way (Free plug Brett). Have not checked the cross member but the height is less than the stock sump, so should be ok.

Will be pulling the engine of the silver Z soon and fitting the sump with a few other goodies including some Tomei hardware care thanks to Z-Roc.

Well I will let the pics do the talking.

In the background is Phil Rudd's V8 Ford Falcon Racecar under construction and the blue Z is my street car. Yes I have three Z's, I know I have a problem, but I am comfortable with my addicition.
